Content writer, creative, blogger, editor, social media strategist...I've never fit under just one label. Folks remember me for the heart & hustle I put into my work. You may know me from my Southern Living articles or YouTube videos, dating back to 2012. That's right, I've been at this for a long time! This journey has taught me that authenticity is essential to story well told.
I'm a Charleston local but native to Atlanta. I've also lived in Birmingham and Savannah, where I attended Georgia Southern University. I’ve always had a passion for creating and cultivating authentic relationships. I find joy in the little things like my German shorthaired pointer, Gracie. When I'm not curating product roundups for Southern Living, you'll find me exploring Charleston with an iced latte in hand, brunching with my best gal pals, lost in a good book, pursuing my latest entrepreneurial venture, or running at sunrise on Sullivan's with Gracie.
Sunrise run with Gracie on Sullivans, church service with a powerful sermon and refreshing worship, quaint brunch with my gal pals, extra time to devour my current read. A day to refresh & reset for the following week, that's what I love about Sunday.
At a young age, I developed a resilient drive to thrive and achieve my goals. But, I struggled to complete simple tasks. In college, I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. This doesn’t inhibit success but does mean that my brain functions differently. I attribute these “disorders” to my drive for success and innovation.
Coffee til' cocktails, I can't pick just one...In the morning, an iced lavendar & vanilla latte with oat milk. After five, French 75. Aperol Spritz. Mimosa. Jack & Coke. Bubbles or whiskey, please! Bonus points if it's a tropical concoction that makes me reminisce the coast. If I get a third pick, green smoothies!
