Sunday Shopping vol. 2

Sunday Shopping vol. 2

Recent Purchases

Lately, all I’ve been wearing is white tops and dresses with fun neck scarves. Madewell has classic white blouses (one, two, three) of superior quality that will last for years. Madewell and Free People have the best selection of neck scarves.

I purchased the white “Loveshackfancy dupe” skirt from Aerie when it first came out. I’ve loved it so much that I also got it in black. I haven’t shopped at Aerie in a hot minute, but I ordered a swimsuit on a whim, and I’m obsessed. If you’re self-conscious about your body, I encourage you to order Aerie’s high-cut cheeky bottoms, truly the most flattering swimsuit I’ve ever had. I got an Aerie swim set in “Best Buds” and it’s a flattering shade on any skin tone.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of petite jeans for months. Loft, Gap, and Old Navy have provided me with the best luck. You may also check into Madewell and Target.

White Dresses

White dresses might as well be my summer uniform. They pair great with a cute neck scarf and cowboy boots, sandals, sneakers, or wedges. I ordered this white dress on Amazon for under $40. I’ll review it on my story on Instagram, @dariarosesmith — follow along for updates.

White Tops

White tops with a quality pair of jeans or denim shorts, and you’re set. If you want a statement, add a bright neck scarf. The beauty of the color white is that it matches everything! My favorite white tops are from Madewell.

Frilly dresses are kinda my thing, part of my brand one might say. They pair perfectly with white sneakers or cowboy boots. Dresses are great because they’re one piece and your outfit is complete.

Pair a cute top with a good pair of jeans, then add sneakers, cowboy boots, wedges, or sandals, and you’re out the door.

While I love frilly dresses, I’m all for frilly skirts. Especially this best-seller from Aerie, a Loveshackfancy dupe that’s gone viral on TikTok and sold out three times. A good pair of jeans and denim shorts are a wardrobe essential in any season, a piece that’s worth investing in.

These Free People active shorts have taken college campuses by storm. Outdoor Voices has an exercise dress raved about by many with a hefty $80 price tag. Amazon has great dupes (one, two) under $40. I can’t bring myself to routinely pay for Lulu Lemon activewear, it’s not in my budget. But, Amazon has amazing dupes for just about everything on Lulu’s website! I’m not a fan of On Cloud sneakers for running, but I love the lightweight feel and modern look.

Aerie has the best swimsuits, and you can’t change my mind. Especially the high-cut cheeky bottom, seriously the most flattering swimsuit I’ve ever worn. I’ve purchased swimwear from Target for years, but not anymore.

Shoes and Accessories

I’m obsessed with neck scarves at the moment. Free People and Madewell have an amazing selection.

These prism glass Corkcicle mugs are dreamy. The photos don’t do them justice, you have to see them in person. If they weren’t $44.95 for a two-pack, I would already have them at my coffee bar. If you’re into aesthetics, these Amazon glass bowls are for you. Glamorous Wash is the best laundry detergent you’ll ever use.

The Manly Indulgence line from Tj Maxx are some of my favorite candles, they have a musky smell like men’s cologne. And, now they can be purchased online and in-store! I’ve linked my favorites in the widget above.

I feel like I say this every shopping post, but I need to curate shopping posts more often. Otherwise, they end up terribly long like this one. As a writer, I don’t have as much time to write for leisure. I seldom have time to write for fun after I’ve finished my paid gigs for the day, after my 9-5 and freelance projects. But, it’s something I’m wanting to do more often. Have fun shopping!

xx, Daria
